The Need for a Gay and Lesbian Family Ministry

Dear Friends,

Through the waters of Baptism God called each of us to be disciples of the Lord. We not only have a place in the Body of Christ, the Church, but all of us share in the mission of building up the Church and witnessing to God’s reign

in our joys, struggles, and journey of life.

I have established the Gay and Lesbian Family Ministry to provide pastoral care for our homosexual brothers and sisters and their families in fidelity to the teachings of the Church.

It is my hope that this ministry can be an opportunity for healing and reconciliation.
