Formation: What is it? What do people say?

My Name is Sister Patricia Harvat, OP (Sister Pat). I am an Adrian Dominican Sister. I am the Coordinator for Formation in the Office of Hispanic Ministry. My primary function is to work with Sister Alicia (the office director) in assessing and helping to meet the leadership formation needs of pastoral agents, particularly the laity who are engaged or will be engaged in Hispanic ministry in the diocese. |

Basic: For the person in the pew. Short class sessions in your parish. Various themes: sacraments, mass, prayer, scripture, the trinity, beatitudes, the creed, the commandments. |

Intermediate: Specialized courses in - preaching, leadership skills, liturgy, social justice. |
